Summer is just around the corner and we’re practically shouting with glee. The kids are almost out of school, your summer vacation is drawing near and the weather will soon be too beautiful for you not to enjoy. It’s time to pack your bags, charge your camera and make some room in the car because road trip season is officially here. Whether you’re a sucker for a weekend getaway or a one-day extravaganza, there’s a destination for everyone to enjoy. Here are the best places to visit this summer near the Dellrose community.

The largest fundraising bike series is just around the corner with multiple start line locations and route options for every level of biker — you guessed it, it’s the Texas MS 150 by Bike MS. To date, Bike MS has raised $1.4 billion to end MS and help those affected. Although, Bike MS is more than a fundraising event — as the National MS Society puts it, it’s an “experience driven by camaraderie, passion, inspiration and fun.” With route distances varying from 15 to 150 miles, there’s a ride suited to everyone and a variety of unique biking adventures for participants to embark on. In anticipation of the event on April 30th and May 1st, we’re breaking down this year’s bike routes and last-minute training spots near the Dellrose community, as well as other trails for you to try nearby.
