Get a Taste of Life at Dellrose May 4

Live the Dellrose way — for at least one day — at Taste of Dellrose from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

We’re serving up local fare from some of Houston’s best food trucks, live music and family fun at the Dellrose Clubhouse, 17312 Springfield Meadow Drive.

Houston cover band Nervous Rex will keep everyone rocking with their energetic mix of the hottest tunes from a wide range of music including rock, 80’s, pop, dance, reggae, country and more.

Kids’ activities will be plentiful and include art lessons from chalk artist Evan Harrison and a kids’ craft tent where they can make kindness rocks and friendship bracelets. A DJ, face painters, photo booth and more will round out the activities.

And the food? We’ve got some of the tastiest street eats around rolling into Dellrose, and the first 300 people to arrive will receive a free meal and drink ticket!

Choose from authentic Louisiana Creole food served up by Krazy Creole, Japanese items prepared by the hibachi chefs of Dojo Hibachi or burgers and wraps from Skye Café.

For dessert, cool down with sweet treats created by Cheri’s N’awlins Sneaux Balls. Unlike the snow cone or Hawaiian shaved ice, N’awlins Sneaux Bawls are crafted with ice so fine you’ll think they collected it from the powdery slope of a ski resort.
