Students Soar in Waller ISD

Dellrose scholars attend acclaimed schools in the well-regarded Waller Independent School District where they can grow intellectually, physically and socially. Nurtured by highly trained faculty, they will emerge prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.

For nearly 130 years Waller ISD has fostered students, earning a reputation for academic and extracurricular excellence. In 2015, all eight Waller ISD campuses received “Met Standard” ratings, as well as a total of 18 Distinction Designations from the Texas Education Agency. Waller ISD schools compete for — and win — UIL area, regional and state awards in academics, fine arts and athletics. More than $3 million in scholarships and grants were awarded to Waller High School students in 2015 and the 98 percent graduation rate is well above the state average.

Aided by a $71 million bond package that was passed in 2015, Waller ISD is poised to add campuses as the district population expands — including the construction of an on-site elementary school within Dellrose.
